- Awww man, sorry about that. That should never have happend, I messed up. I must have thought I was editing my own local wiki (where I put all kinds of nonsense), and didn't notice that I was actually editing a Wikipedia article. Again I'm so sorry. --Bruce 21:39, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going to go to bed, because I made another mistake right after writing this message. For some reason I clicked the (rev) link on an image page (see this post), not knowing that it would inmediatly revert back to the old version. That's two mistakes in a row, and two too many. --Bruce 22:06, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Reverting images
Hi, Bruce. I got your message and I just want to say don't worry about it. I checked the image page and it seems you have already reverted it back to the current image. Thanks for the notice though. By the way, don't be discouraged by your mistakes. I am sure with more practice, you'll become a great editor. :)
P.S. I noticed that you responded to the message posted above this. That user was a bit rude but hey, cheer up and welcome to wikipedia! Ladida 02:42, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Do Not Remove Warnings
Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Removing warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. If you continue to remove warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. AmiDaniel (talk) 21:18, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Help
How much more reading do I need to do? I read How to archive a talk page and yet my actions were instantly reverted by the creator of VandalProof. I admit he's correct, even before archiving I vaguely remembered something about never removing warning messages. However it wasn't stated in this warning message so I just presumed I could move it. I didn't even really deserve the original warning, I just made a mistake (see archive). Which brings to mind, how many more pages do I need to read to find out how to remove these warning messages from this talk page? Or am I tainted for life? Sure I could search Wikipedia, consult the community portal, and if I can't locate the neccesary document that way I could always Google. I always do that, I never ask questions I never bother anyone... well this is it. You don't need to help me with anything that's fine, you're all volunteers. Nobody is paying you to do anything. But I seriously need some advice because I'm losing my mind trying to figure out all this stuff on my own.
- Looks like it was a misunderstanding. Along with removing {{helpme}} from this page, I've also removed the warning from the page. Feel free to ask me if you need any more help. —BorgHunter
