Non-free rationale for File:Train Ride to Hollywood 1975.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Train Ride to Hollywood 1975.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 00:19, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- Did you see my non-free media explanation? I just entered it today. I would like a speedy resolution to this matter. Bruce the Terrible (talk) 07:36, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- The use of non-free files in drafts is not allowed (WP:NFCC#9). — Ирука13 12:54, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- Well, then can I use this file in the article once it's approved by Wikipedia? Bruce the Terrible (talk) 14:43, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
- Only if the file matches all ten points of NFCC. — Ирука13 14:50, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

- I tried rewording the background paragraph explaining the LP per Significa liberdade's recommendations, and I found a separate review of the soundtrack album in an archived weekly newspaper rather than relying on Dave Marsh's extensive comments on the record. I would have added more reviews of this LP, but I couldn't find any; I even searched Rolling Stone's archives for a review of the LP and found nothing. I think I'll give up on this article, mainly because Bloodstone's Train Ride to Hollywood soundtrack album, despite being every bit as good as Marsh and Todd Everett says it is, was not a commercial success. I understand that many people would regard Bloodstone as a two-hit wonder for their inability to get more than two singles on the Billboard Hot Hundred, so perhaps notability is a requirement that can't be met here.
