Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Velankanni Town, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pratappur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Velankanni and further
[edit]Sorry that we have to hold differing stances on the Velankanni article. Hope we can sort it. I just wanted to drop a note that Persian cats are my favourite too. I had recently adopted two cats (which are surely not Persian) but not sure of their breed. Wondering whether you can help me with that if I can send a pic through email. Cheers --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 14:55, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, I came here to leave a new note for BC but decided to drop into this section because I am a cat-lover too; my wife and I used to rescue strays until our house ran out of room, heh heh.
- Seriously, I was going to suggest that you go ahead and create a new, separate page for the church/shrine. It seems notable enough, and then we could cross-link the two articles. What do you think? Doc Tropics 15:16, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry BrownyCat for using your talkpage for this discussion. DT ->Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health :). It was my first DYK (vanity!!). --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 15:32, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Johnuniq. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I gather from the message on my talk page (which another editor removed because attacks are not appropriate at Wikipedia) that you believe the vailankanni.info website has copied text from Wikipedia, so my copyright warning above was not correct. That is possible, and "reverse copy violations" occur quite often. If that is the case, the best response is to just state what you know about the situation—there is no reason to attack another editor who has found duplicate text on a website and in a Wikipedia article. When material promoting a travel destination is in an article and an external website dedicated to that topic, the obvious conclusion is that the article copied it from the external website. However, if that is not case, please accept my apology for the above warning. Of course I have no connection with vailankanni.info. If needed, I might do some more checking of the history at Velankanni Town to look for clues about the origin of the copied text, but that is not really necessary because the text is not appropriate for an article as this is an encyclopedia and not a place to provide a travel guide or other promotional text. Venlankanni .. again?
[edit]Hello there. Can you please proceed with the discussion rather than starting off another edit war? You are asking others to discuss whereas you are the one who is failing to do so. The discussion you initiated is here. --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 13:16, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- And please stop calling this stuff "vandalism" - it is not, and this has been explained to you previously. - Sitush (talk) 13:19, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
