Great edits to the article. Information was concise but informative. The sources are reliable and accessible. I would recommend working on the second paragraph as the sentence structure and grammar could be cleaner near the end of that paragraph. I also think adding subheadings regarding different types of combat could be helpful, something like separating out the siege weapons into its own subcategory. Are you adding those direct quotes into the sections listed or are you going to rewrite those sections like the original content section? Cmwxc (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

We have written our content in three different paragraphs to separate information about different types of weapons. Adding subheadings to these paragraphs would definitely help readers quickly locate information and tell the differences between paragraphs, good suggestion! The direct quotes section is just a selection of notes from our sources that we intend to paraphrase and use in our article edits, but we won't actually quote anything in the article. In fact, most of these quotes have already been paraphrased to make up the information that is currently in our draft. Brodyriemann (talk) 23:17, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

I think you guys have really good information that you plan to add to the article. Everything is written in a very informational tone that doesn't at all present bias towards Romans and their style of weapons/warfare which is good. I think adding all this info to the history of weapons article is very beneficial considering the Romans developed a lot of weapons and heavily influenced other cultures' weaponry. I, too, was wondering if you plan to do anything with that direct quote section, like if you're going to insert them into the article when you edit or if its just there for your convenience when making edits in the sandbox. I might consider linking any Wiki articles to your edits, for the italicized words like pilum and sica, if you weren't planning to already. Just so if anyone reads and wants a bit more info on the weapon by itself they can get that. Jldgx6 (talk) 22:09, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for your peer review. As previously explained, the direct quote section of the user page is used as a place to copy and paste quotes, from which we would like to include the conveyed information in our original edits. Our current goal is to paraphrase all of these, but we may later consider implementing a couple directly. All quotes regarding their respective topics have already been included in the original edits.
