The article - the ink blot test- from the previous assignment could use some improvementDapsongale08 (talk) 20:52, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
Topic
[edit]Hey group! Have any ideas for our topic? The page for allostatic load could use a lot of work. Brittanyjune (talk) 00:32, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
Article
[edit]Hey Brittany, I think the one of the article -the ink blot test- can use some improvement.Dapsongale08 (talk) 20:51, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
I agree. We could have the pages for the ink blot test and for allostatic load be the two we request to be our project. Brittanyjune (talk) 00:32, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
Aside for the citation corrections requested on the warning label of the articles, do you think any other parts of the article need some reorganization/improvement.Dapsongale08 (talk) 02:03, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
For the allostatic load we could fine articles to complete it and make citation adjustment. and for the ink blot test, we could rearrange the information provided, provide a detailed information about how the test is done, add another subheading to show similarities or comparison between the inkblot test and the Rorschach test if any. What do you think? Dapsongale08 (talk) 16:01, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
I think that sounds good. It seems like the ink blot test may have more substance to it. So should our first choice be the ink blot test and our second be allostatic load? Brittanyjune (talk) 01:50, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
It looks like we have plenty to choose from on the stub page. What do you both think of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hysteroid_dysphoria or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergophobia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messiah_complex could also be interesting. Brittanyjune (talk) 00:43, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Those are really interesting suggestions, i find the messiah complex and hysteroid dysphoria interesting. Dapsongale08 (talk) 00:52, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Any other suggestions? We could have those two topics be our first and second choices. Brittanyjune (talk) 01:12, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Lets read from megan and see what she is comfortable with as well. Dapsongale08 (talk) 01:21, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Messiah Complex
[edit]Hi all! The talk page for our topic makes it seem like it's very controversial. Many have been calling for the page to be deleted, and that might not be a bad idea. Maybe it would be beneficial to find articles with an actual diagnosis. The lack of sources seems like a huge issue as well. It seems highly related to schizophrenia.
This article suggests a related topic: religio-egocentricity https://web-a-ebscohost-com.ezproxy.lib.ndsu.nodak.edu/ehost/detail/detail?vid=0&sid=a00b2b9b-89c2-4026-8652-6770dffbdf79%40sessionmgr4008&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3QtbGl2ZSZzY29wZT1zaXRl#AN=1994-09774-001&db=psyh
I have requested it from the library since it's not available in PDF format. Other than that article, I was only able to find one other reliable source: http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.2466/pr0.1990.67.3.955
If we are unable to access any of these articles then we may have to switch to our second choice topic, hysteroid dysphoria.
Questions for Dr. Council: 1. Should we have this page deleted and move on to our second topic? 2. Do you think the limited resources will be enough?

- The article contains little information than expected.

Question/comment
1. Article appear to have limited information about it, especially since it is considered a symptom of a much larger disease -schizophrenia and/or bipolar disease. 2. Also, what would you suggest to be the headings for discussion in the article? Since we could only name people who were presumed t have suffered from it, and how they have manifested the disease. I took a long hard thought about this and made comparisons with other articles and I came up short. It is in between a concept and a phenomenon that will require extensive writings.
