[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Pero's Bridge. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 19:26, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Felida97,
- I understand that you guys use a variety of automated software to comb through new edits, however this is no excuse for pure ignorance and malicious intent of crushing new information.
- I am a professor at an esteemed university based in the Bristol area. My PhD thesis (and extensive academic research) on bridges in the Bristol area can be cited as evidence to support my change. I request that you revert your draconian, imperious and frankly arrogant - yes, arrogant - supression of my edits.
- I want to make this website a better place, one edit at a time and your keyboard warrior patrol is not going to stop me.
- Thank you,
- J. Harlow, PhD. BristolEnthusiast1939 (talk) 19:38, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- As a proud student of highly esteemed professor, Dr Jonathan Harlow, I can only feel disgust towards you - Felida97 - for doubting such a brave bridge-enjoyer in weak and frankly embarrassing attempt to gain internet superiority and intellectual sanctimony over such a humble and selfless gentleman. I fully sympathise with Jonathan's plight. My family was from the former Soviet Union, and my grandfather was on the staff that compiled the Great Soviet Encyclopaedia. He oft told me stories of how the KGB would come to his apartment in the middle of the night and burn his tomes of research as they branded it "against the party line". Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that this dystopian nightmare would make its way into the West, never mind the seemingly free and open domain that is the Internet and especially Wikipedia.
- I implore you, good Sir, for the love of all that is good and holy, for the love of the spread of free knowledge, nay, Truth itself.
- I would like to end my contribution to this kangaroo trial with a quote from the great Ancient Greek philosopher Plato, who is said to have said "no one is more hated than he who speaks the truth."
- Yours,
- Jeremiah Gobblesfordovich, MA BristolEnthusiast1940 (talk) 19:51, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- I would like to thank the most estemeed Mr. Gobblesfordovich for his deeply emotional and tear-jerking testimony.
- I will appreciate a response from Felia97 or one of his goons by 20:30 London Time. A online clock with this time can be provided to the opposition on request. If we do not hear a response, I am escalating this issue to the Wikipedia Patrol Oversight Committee. I have already lodged a complaint in the IRC channel.
- This is disgraceful.
- I am deeply disappointed.
- Thank you,
- J. Harlow, PhD.

Request reason:
I am disgusted. This is revolting. You can't do anything on this decrepid platform without a corrupt moderator blocking you. I am not related with these accounts - one of them is my university student - that has been disclosed in the above chat thread. I have had ENOUGH with these automated bans. I just want to correct a mistake on a single Wikipedia page. Please, unblock me and revert the "anti-vandalism edits" by Felida97 and his cronies that are in and of themselves vandalistic.
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:50, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
