Decline reason:
Too little information to assess this block. You'll need to tell us what that "some reason" is. The account itself is not blocked. Huon (talk) 20:11, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hello. I just created an account today. I tried to edit from my local starbucks and it says I cannot for some reason. Please help.
Hold on. I'm new at this. I just got some message. Let me see if I can find it again.
{{unblock}}
Okay, it says "CheckUser evidence has determined that this IP address or network has been used (not necessarily by you) to disrupt Wikipedia. It has been blocked from editing to prevent further abuse."
Not sure what this means. I'd like to edit Wikipedia. I'm here at a coffee shop. I could edit it fine at home. What do I do?
Also said some other stuff. What's going on? Anybody there?
- In short, return home to edit. It appears someone (not necessarily you, as the message says) edited Wikipedia disruptively from the copy shop's IP address, leading to a block. It's unfortunate that you also suffer for it, but since you have a way to edit without the coffee shop's internet connection, it's better for Wikipedia to not have you and the vandal both edit from there, and we cannot block one person from that IP and let another edit. That's really inconvenient. You guys need a better system.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
