Masthead

[edit]

Hi BrightLights, welcome to Wikipedia!

thanks for rewriting the Masthead Island article, on reading your version I realised what a sloppy job I had done writing it in the first place. I just added some of my old content to your revision, because I felt it was relevant to the article. rakkar 19:42, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

you're right; all though there is a load of guano on the island, no-one ever mined it from there. thanks for pointing that out. rakkar 10:04, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Brisbane WikiProject

[edit]

Hi BrightLights. I just dropped by to let you know about the Brisbane the Brisbane WikiProject. The Project was created to help focus and coordinate editors efforts on Brisbane related articles. We've recently created a new list of suggested tasks on the project page. There’s also a new 'Recent Activity' section on the project talk page. You might like to add any Brisbane related articles that you've been working on recently to the list to encourage others to join in. If you have any comments on how to improve the project, please share them on the project talk page. If you'd like to let others know that you're interested in Brisbane related articles, feel free to add your name to the list of participants. Happy editing. -- Adz|talk 07:18, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Brightlights. Thanks for your help thus far. I'm thinking along much the same lines as you are on colours - I'll see what I can work out. Slac speak up! 06:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done. You might also be suprised to find a little addition at the bottom of the page(s) :-) Timeshift 15:42, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm unsure what classifies seat safeness - I tend to stick with the 5/10/20 concept. In regards to colour, I wouldn't make it look too much like the green used in the headers, but you're more than welcome to find a more appropriate colour code. Simply google bgcolor and you'll find lists and lists of colours and codes. Hope that helps. Timeshift 10:24, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bates

[edit]

It really depends - some of them get kept, some of them get deleted. In this case, I'd be inclined to keep it, if for no other reason than the fact that Bates is very likely to be the elected member for Mudgeeraba in two weeks time if the polls are correct. If she loses, it could probably be deleted then, but it would be a bit silly to delete it now and have to recreate it again after the election. Rebecca 12:23, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Queensland Parliamentarians

[edit]

Thankyou for clarifying my entries on Qld National Party Leader Jeff Seeney. I created the page this morning to reflect the recent change in leadership. I have also created a page for new deputy Fiona Simpson. Any contributions you could make to these and other forthcoming stubs on Qld members of parliament would be greatly appreciated. -Bernie_bernbaum|talk 5:55, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

2007

[edit]

Thank you for contacting me about the revision. Now I know why you a small section of 2007. Amos Han 13:36, 07 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I just did it now. Why do you find that message bothersome? Amos Han 13:44, 07 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Young Lions (TV series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable TV series, I took the plot summeries off IMDb very early in my wikipedia career.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
