Thanks for reply. I've added the reference. As with a lot of things on Wikipedia, one way to do it is to look for an article which has the thing you're trying to do (reference added, image, or whatever) and look at the code to see what's going on. You can read about citing web sites at {{cite web}}. There's also a facility I've only just discovered: go to "my preferences", "gadgets", and tick "refTools" under "Editing gadgets", and it adds a new button to the edit bar which helps you to add references. Good luck with WikiEditing - it gets addictive if you let it! If you've got any questions about editing, drop me a note on my Talk page and I might be able to help as I've been around for a while.

Oh, another thing: when you sign something, if you use 4 tildes (ie ~~~~),the system adds your username and the date and time automatically. Just makes life simpler - I notice that "Sinebot" added the date and time for you to your bit on the talk page.

I can't remember quite how I came across the Belvedere article, probably through some GPDST connection, but I've been keeping an eye on it since and deleting some of the silliness. PamD (talk) 21:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
