Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia, which you are more than welcome to do. Please don't replicate articles and content with varying names, you can use #REDIRECT for the same effect. Please read WP:BIO, WP:AUTO & WP:VANITY regarding the notability criteria for biographies and the status of autobiographical articles. Please also read the links in the welcome salutation below about creating good articles for Wikipedia. (aeropagitica) 18:24, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Please read up on WP:AUTO, WP:BIO and WP:VANITY for an understanding of why your self-titled article was marked for deletion. You may inquire on my talk page with any questions you have, or here as well. Just write {{help}} here, and leave your question. --Auto(talk / contribs) 07:08, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Copied from Brian D. Oakes, which is about to be deleted for the third time:
i am a photographer, and I have seen many other photographers with their bio listed. I just want to have my professional background documented along with other fellow photographers. I have edited the original post, to hopefully be more in line with your standards.
Please let me know if there is something specifically wrong with it as I tried to look at the other acceptable photographer pages as a example.
thanks

- I fear that you have confused Wikipedia with some other kind of site. It's not a place where people post details of their own professional background. Please see "COI". -- Hoary 12:36, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Please do not re-create this article. Thank you. -- Hoary 09:09, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Slomin's
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Slomin's, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Karl 334 ☞TALK to ME ☜ 17:12, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
The article Nick Karner has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable actor with no major roles, no significant coverage, unreferenced article
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 05:53, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
