Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gloom.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Gloom.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Style note
[edit]Hi Brian. Just a quick note regarding this edit. Per style conventions, there should be no links in section headings. Links should instead be in the text. Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:40, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi Brian, I reverted your change at Economy of the Soviet Union. Seems to me, trillion is a slily word to use there so you were quite right to change that, but can we be sure about the millions? i.e. can we ref that? Which would be better.
I have a few books here about the Soviet Union economy and I can ref it if you want.

The file File:Nigel Egg in performance.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
"Laying mud" listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Laying mud. Since you had some involvement with the Laying mud redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Hog Farm (talk) 22:17, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
The article Groan Tube has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies)'s section for products requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
