Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Inny Junction railway station. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Rail & sea corridor to Ireland sections on railway station articles

[edit]

Hi, regarding your edits to London Paddington station, etc.; if a station has a direct service to Fishguard Harbour with onward connections to Ireland, that may be mentioned in the article about that station, provided that you reference it to reliable third-party sources, per the policy on verifiability.

The websites of Stena Line and of Arriva Trains are not third-party, but are primary sources; these particular web pages are there mainly to sell a service, and shouldn't be used as references. Wikipedia is not a means of promotion.

Where a station has no direct service to Fishguard Harbour, it is tenuous to add the information to the web pages of those stations on the grounds that connection may be made at Cardiff or Swansea. This is because it's possible to get a through ticket between any two stations in the UK, and, if you go to the right travel agent, between any UK station and Rosslare, but we don't list all these connections because there are simply too many. Wikipedia is not a travel guide. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:18, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Brf1000. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Dublin Bus Route 1".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Dublin Bus Route 1}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 22:02, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
