This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Most sources fail the "independent" criteria (the subject's website, interviews, press releases, by the subject's alma mater in a context emphasizing their connection to the school, etc). The Capital Gazette and Providence Journal sources are both good -- can you find a few more sources like that? Also, the jrank source looks like it's autogenerated from somewhere. It's generally not a great idea to use sources like that, they will very often have major accuracy issues.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Notable Haverford College alums

hello, User:BreukelenDodger: I question whether R.W. Alley really qualifies as one of the very most notable Haverford College alumni, warranting inclusion in the principal article about the college. (I have the same question about several of the others listed there.) Isn't he more like the many accomplished graduates who are included in List_of_Haverford_College_people?
