I think you need to be clear that what you are describing in terms of the "New Atlantis" phenomenon is not a reference to Bacon's New Atlantis but rather an invocation of an unnamed "lost civilization" that becomes a substitute for Atlantis. Hoopes (talk) 22:06, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
