Please stop your disruptive editing.

Please refrain immediately from removing routes suspended due to COVID-19 without a source confirming their overall cancellation, e. g. Norwegian Air Shuttle currently displays a nearly empty route map but has not removed the destinations you changed from their website. Therefore your edits have been undone. Additonally, removing citations without stating a valid reason is considered vandalism and we also do not remove and readd suspended routes - marking them as suspended is in accordance with our guidelines. Please make yourself more familiar with our guidelines before destroying other editor's work. Best regards.

@2001:a61:1077:4a01:dd76:a407:922f:8e37: Norwegian flights were correct, using February on the map doesn't show as the airline is hardly operating at the moment, change the date to any month between March and October and all routes are shown, you are the one vandalising removing properly sourced information and re adding outdated information.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited HiSky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Monastir. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jet2 Chambery and Innsbruck routes are now bookable on their website, with start dates, therefore are credible sources. Just because a media outlet haven't wrote an article about it, does not mean the source is not reliable or information incorrect.

@SeanM1997: Linking the url for the airline website it is not a reliable source as it is not route specific, and doesn't show a specific start date without having to search which is not allowed per the WP:AIRPORTS guidelines and is also Original research. Dummy bookings are also unacceptable as it is also Original research. Please find a credible source or don't add it at all, an airline website url is NOT acceptable so please stop using them. Also please do not then add it with no source at all, all new routes need sources. Bremav2 (talk) 17:16, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How can I add a new route then which is served by these airports if you don't accept airline booking sites and its not been written about the media? They are still flights - so shouldn't the public be aware of them on the wiki page in the list of destinations. Please advise how to proceed then SeanM1997 (talk) 17:20, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@SeanM1997: Wait till an acceptable source is released, if it can't be sourced properly as a a new route it doesn't belong in the table. Looking here Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airports/Archive 17#RfC about references for the "Airlines and destinations" tables timetables are acceptable within reason but should only be used when a media source is not found. If these Jet2 routes have been loaded it usually takes a week or so for a media source to be released. Also helps if when searching for a new source type for example "Jet2 Manchester to Chambery" into Google and go to news and it tends to give news reports on the new route I have looked but as of yet nothing has been released. Removal of routes

[edit]

Please note that if you remove any airline routes you need to provide a source, e. g. the airport's or airline's schedule or destination guide no longer showing the service. Removal of routes without stating a reference is considered vandalism. Best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:A61:1021:3701:8DA2:4111:D382:D2AF (talk) 08:10, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm The Banner. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Benina International Airport, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The Banner talk 20:16, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]
  1. Per WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT, all sources must be independent
  2. A company website is not independent source
  3. It is specifically the connection that must be sourced. Randomly placing an external link does not source anything.

Your cooperation is appreciated. The Banner talk 22:56, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
