Imperial capital listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Imperial capital. Since you had some involvement with the Imperial capital redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Travelbird (talk) 07:50, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of lakes in Peru, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Quechua (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
Just to let you know: If a place is known by more than one name, or if it has a nickname e.g. Neutral municipality for Rio de Janeiro then these should be created as redirects to the main page, e.g. #REDIRECT Rio de Janeiro . Except in extremely rare cases, there is no need for a separate article as any information on nicknames etc should be added to the main article. Travelbird (talk) 22:44, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
Just to let you know: The article Neutral municipality is about a concept, a term in administration. It is not a nickname for Rio de Janeiro. You seem to have no clue of Brazilian history. BrasiliaBrasilia (talk) 22:48, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please familiarize yourself how WP:wikilinks work before you edits these. I know that you are a new editor and may mean well, but the recent edits you made actually contravene our manual of style. If you need any help, feel free to contact me. Travelbird (talk) 23:07, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

- It is getting very difficult to assume good faith here. Once again: if you type ** Capital (economics) of an empire the result is ** "Capital (economics) of an empire" which is not compliant with your WP:MOS. It should be the capital of an empire as that gives you: the capital of an empire which is grammatically correct as the sentence now reads : "Imperial capital may refer to the capital of an empire".
