Juan's Peer Review
[edit]I think your article does a very good job of describing both the reasons for the deforestation in the country, but also the effects that have come from it. Both the history and contemporary causes sections are well-developed. The lead section provides a good amount of introductory information, without being overwhelming. However, the measured rates section is a little lacking-- with it mostly being pure data. A way to improve this is to provide a little more interpretation of the data. Given that both the impacts and response sections seem like the most important, special attention should be paid to them to ensure they are thorough. There are a few grammatical errors present. Overall, the current sections of the article is rather complete. The references used are extensive and clearly appear to be reliable. Assuming the missing sections are developed adequately, this article would be a strong one. Jmrizo (talk) 19:12, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
