New Missing Articles List (fr)
[edit]Hi, I was wondering if you could take a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/fr#Complete Update if you haven't yet. Thanks, Ardric47 19:02, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm guessing at loads of boring French communes to be translated to here then. I'll work my way thru many of these over time, I'm sure. Thanks for running the script. --Brandnewuser 18:06, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Editing sigs?
[edit]Forgive my curiosity, but could you explain what you're up to, with some of these recent diffs? [1] [2] [3] Apologies for the intrusion, and thanks in advance. Luna Santin 23:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've blocked you from further editing until those edits are explained. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:54, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- The editor previously known as Wonderfool has moved on, and has changed username. This is presumably common knowledge. The old Thewayforward's account password has been lost, and this is his new main account. Those edits were a way of moving on from the Wond*****l persona, which has a somewhat besmirched name. I am turning over a new leaf. --Brandnewuser 19:43, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to building links between various Wikimedia projects. --Brandnewuser 19:46, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Pretend that was said in a kinder-sounding way please. --Brandnewuser 19:46, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Brandnewuser. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Brandnewuser~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

The article Never Trust a Guy Who After Having Been a Punk, Is Now Playing Electro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Appears to fail WP:NALBUM
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DonaldD23 talk to me 14:13, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
