Speedy deletion of Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Timothy Training Institute requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion of Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Timothy Training Institute, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Timothy Training Institute requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Timothy Training Institute. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Timothy Training Institute, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Previously deleted, notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. R3ap3R.inc (talk) 22:20, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Timothy_Training_Institute. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. DO NOT REMOVE DELETE TAGS FROM YOUR OWN ARTICLE R3ap3R.inc (talk) 11:42, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for deleting the tags - I took the line "You may remove this message if you improve the article..." seriously, so I thought I could delete it... Again, I apologise. Kevincarldavis (talk) 13:09, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I's fine, it's a beginner's mistake that I've made before. That's why these messages are just warnings to let people know. Technically, you CAN remove a Proposed Deletion tag on an article you created, but not a Speedy Deletion tag. A Speedy tag is the red one, and PROD is usually beige or white, I forget which. Just be sure to read each one to know the difference. If you have any more questions about this or anything else, be sure to drop me a line on my talk page. Cheers!
Looking at the warning again, it says that you removed an AFD tag, but the article was never nominated for AFD. You actually removed a PROD tag, which you are allowed to do, so that warning should never have been made. I went ahead and left a message on R3ap3R.inc's talk page. However, I did go ahead and nominate the article for AFD, since the PROD was declined. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 14:01, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. AfD nomination of Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

I have nominated Timothy Training Institute, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timothy Training Institute. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 13:42, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Timothy Training Institute

[edit]

Please read WP:OTHERSTUFF for more information. Just because there is another article that exists that is just as or less qualified than an article nominated for deletion is not reason to keep the nominated article, as the other article may have just slipped through the cracks. I looked at the page you linked to and I agree, it does not seem to meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, so I nominated that as well. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 14:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possible plagiarism at Somerset East article

[edit]

Hi, I note you copied word-for-word from the following website http://www.somerseteast.co.za/ (as referenced to in the article), on 20 August 2009. This constitutes copyright violation, a VERY dangerous action, and against Wiki policy!

Also, advertisements like Castle Lager (Biltong Festival) will be deleted, it has no place in an encyclopedia.
