Hey Bradley. I finally read and reviewed your sandbox draft for the Race and Ethnicity in US entry. Overall, it looks great! Informative with lots of specific data. It is all fairly straight forward and clear. The citations are relevant and reliable. I noticed a few grammatical issues. I think the punctuation between the numbers needs to be the longer dash (the en dash) rather than the hyphen you used. The only other issue was with the sentence that begins "therefore; these population estimates...". A comma should be used in place of the semicolon. Other than that, it looked great. Nice sources and very thorough.
Since there's not much critique here, I thought I'd throw out a few suggestions for future updates to this entry: I think it could be useful to describe the criteria Middle Eastern Americans may use to self-define as Middle Eastern. (I know in other cultures, factors such as generation, language use and familiarity, and other ethnic sorts of markers influence the degree to which other ethnicities identify with their heritage. Are there any studies or theories you know of that could be useful. I wonder if this is another reason why there is a discrepancy in the Census estimates vs the Arab American Institute estimates. Just a thought. Great work on this!Michaelramirez (talk) 03:16, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
