Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Bradford. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that the Bradford article covers only the city centre of the Bradford Metropolitan District. Your edits apply to areas within the metropolitan area and should be added there.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Edit war
[edit]Because of your continued edit warring after being warned I am reporting this to administrators here.--Charles (talk) 08:16, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've actually lived in Thornton,Bradford and can assure you that it is part of the old City of Bradford and indeed Charlotte,Emily Jane and Anne were Bradfordians. How this can be described as a war is madness.Their birthplace should be one of Bradford's biggest landmarks, and should mentioned on the wikipedia Bradford page.(Bradford Guitar boy)
- Hello. I've just reformatted your reply to move if after, and repair the heading, hope that is OK.
- Meanwhile, some advice: slow down. You're in a disagreement with other users. Keeping on reverting the same edit will simply not work and may well get you blocked. Discuss the problem on the article talk page, which is Talk:Bradford William M. Connolley (talk) 11:10, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi there,as you can tell i'm new to wikipedia editing lol..
There seems to be some confusion,Thornton village was part of the City of Bradford long before the local authority reorganisation that took place in 1974,i believe Thornton village became part of the City of Bradford around about the end of the first world war, possibly 1919/21.Obviously the Bronte sisters birth place is an important landmark that given it's location should be included in the wikipedia Bradford page. The figure of 5,500 listed buildings in Bradford is i believe correct although i've also heard the figure of 5,800 mentioned on occasions.Whether this figure covers the whole of the Metropolitan district,i don't know for sure, but it is a possibility although i've never heard that figure being mentioned in regards to the whole district.I'll try to get a definitive figure in regards to Bradford's listed buildings and the old pre 1974 City boundary. I'll certainly edit the figure if it's incorrect.
- OK. Bear in mind I know nothing about Bradford other than that its grim oop North. All I'm doing is trying to defuse an edit war and/or misunderstanding. Your next step should be to visit Talk:Bradford and try to discuss things there. Bear in mind that tempers may be a touch inflamed so tread lightly; it may be worth waiting a day or two before doing any more. If you need advice, ask here William M. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bradford, you may be blocked from editing. Charles (talk) 07:55, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi there, sorry you look on it that way, but not to have the Bronte sisters birth place included in the Bradford landmark section is ludicrous.
- Editing on Wikipedia is by consensus and by following various guidelines which are themselves a community consensus. You can not just act on your own over this. You have already been reported for edit warring twice. Do not expect to get away with it a third time.--Charles (talk) 08:18, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
I certainly don't look on anything like this as 'warring',i simply don't see it in that way.Having lived in Bradford most of my life i'd like to see all it's great landmarks pointed out.Not to have the Bronte Sisters birth place included in the landmark section doesn't represent Bradford correctly and seems positivly odd.

Continuing to add material against concensus
[edit]You appear to have been blocked for this, you return and do the same. The material you added does not belong in this article so please stop adding it. --J3Mrs (talk) 18:11, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
As i've said previously,it's pretty obvious to me that these landmarks do belong in this section.Hopefully someone will see that not including these very important Bradford landmarks is actually doing the City of Bradford a disservice.I live in the City but i wouldn't have thought that was a prerequisite in understanding how ludicrous these ommissions are.Bradford Guitar Boy (talk) 18:37, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
By continually adding this information you will end up blocked. The information should go in the Thornton or Saltaire articles, where it most probably already is.--J3Mrs (talk) 18:45, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Obviously we're not going to agree on this,i've no axe to grind but for these landmarks not to be included in the Bradford section doesn't make sense to anyone i've talked to locally. As i said, this is doing the City no favours as they are two very important Bradford landmarks.I can't imagine this sort of hopeless editing being foisted on any other important City in the UK,which in my opinion is a total disgrace.Bradford Guitar Boy (talk) 19:42, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
