License tagging for File:001. Group Photo after Profession.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:001. Group Photo after Profession.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:06, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anglican Cistercians

[edit]

Dear Brabo1098, I have just reverted your edits at Anglican Cistercians. It does seem from comments you have made in the past (at that article) that you have a conflict of interest here, as you have stated that you are the Prior of the Order of Anglican Cistercians, which is a major element of the article. In particular I notice that you have repeatedly tried to remove all reference to your rival organisation the OCCO, and have left edit summaries stating that your organisation does not recognise the OCCO. This is irrelevant to Wikipedia, which is an encyclopaedia, not a vehicle for promoting the OCist, or any other organisation. The OCCO has a history, which includes roots in Anglicanism (which are referenced at the article), and this material should not be removed. Editors who are involved externally with the subject of an article often have things to contribute, but have to be very careful to avoid conflict of interest. The promotion of Wikipedia is our only aim. I also propose re-casting the Anglican Cistercian article. We have given the OCist a very prominent place in the article, as it is the current manifestation of the Cistercian Order within Anglicanism, but this may have given you a false impression that the article is only about OCist, which is not the case. Any Cistercian activity within Anglicanism (present or past) belongs in this article. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 05:20, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
