Information icon Hi Boxcodes10. We appreciate your enthusiasm but please refrain from tagging articles for now – some maintenance tasks are not suitable for beginners. New Page Review requires significant experience, which you don't have yet. However, if you have already made at least 200 mainspace edits, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn about keeping pages free of nonsense. Consider doing recent changes patrol for vandalism instead. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Altered speedy deletion rationale: Sumana Roy

[edit]

Hello Boxcodes10, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Sumana Roy, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 14:40, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removals can be constructive

[edit]

IP provided a sound reason for the removal. I feel you keep adding it back because of your personal feelings, which should remain outside Wikipedia. Labeling it "unconstructive" (read: nonconstructive) is disingenuous. Jersey John (talk) 02:48, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

On IP's talk page, you were simply copy/pasting a warning to appear as if you have more authority than you do. This is obvious in that the warning you copy/pasted contains correct English language grammar and structure, whereas your history shows you are most definitely not a native English speaker, which, for better or worse, further raises my suspicions on your insistence on keeping that content. Also, what kind of notation is "killed by bots" supposed to mean? IP was clearly not a bot, nor was the IP committing vandalism. Jersey John (talk) 02:53, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
