V (comics) in Category:Unseen_characters
[edit]Hi Bosco13!
I noticed you added V (comics) to the category Category:Unseen_characters. I've had a look at the category, and the associated article, and I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind placing V in this category. Unseen characters are described in the article as "[characters] who are never directly observed by the audience and only are described by other characters". This doesn't seem to apply to V, who is a very visible character throughout most of the series. I concede that V does get talked about a great deal, by Norsefire investigators and officials, but that doesn't make V unseen - Evey sees V, V reveals himself to Fingermen, to Lewis Prothero, etc. The concept of unseen characters isn't one I'm hugely familiar with, so I've left the category in place, but it'd be good if you could clarify why you added V to this category.

Repost of Category:Bo' Selecta
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Bo' Selecta, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Bo' Selecta was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Bo' Selecta, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Speedy deletion nomination of Hero.com
[edit]A tag has been placed on Hero.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Frehley 13:56, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
I removed it, Frehley made a mistake. You're doing good, though you might want to say more about why these books are important. 17:18, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Hero.com
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hero.com, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Character with no assertion of notability.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. File copyright problem with File:Mmleap.gif
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Mmleap.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:02, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Axiom-man (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Speedy deletion nomination of Axiom-man
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Axiom-man requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/apfuchs. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Viz comic strips, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2000 AD. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
