[edit]thanks for the review of the DYJA page. I have now tried to make more explicit why DYJA is significant (for me, the primary evidence of this is through the number of professional musicians, some very widely regarded, that come out of the Association which is based in an area of the UK not renowned for its jazz (and which is generally thought of as a rathered depressed area which never recovered from the recession of the 1980s). I could extend the list a lot further through links to individual musician's web sites etc who have come up through the ranks of the association's ensembles. The bands _are_ what the association does. Also, there are quiet a few examples of recent incarnations of the bands on YouTube - I don't know if this would be considered evidence of notability in this context. Do you have any advice on these points?
- I re-submitted the article for you. Cheers. 01:28, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
