[edit]

I have given reasons why allcarwiki.com is not a valid source at Talk:Toyota 86. Please feel free to comment or ask questions there. Cheers.  Stepho  talk  23:35, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

tune86.com

[edit]

I noticed that you removed some Toyota FT-86 II references to tune86.com and said that it was an "unreliable source with stolen data". Unfortunately that leaves unreferenced information in the article. Do you have an alternative reference that we can use? Thanks.  Stepho  talk  01:26, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately no, should the information be deleted?  bootlegapparel  talk  01:27, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It normally depends on how outrageous the claims are and the likelihood of them being challenged. In this case the claims are quite simple and are consistent with photos on the web. I'll just put some {{cn}} tags on them. With luck, somebody will find a better reference that supports the info. Possibly some searching at tune86.com itself will tell us where they got the info from and we can then use the original source.
By the way, your signature looks familiar :)  Stepho  talk  04:21, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes I'm not completely familiar with mediawiki and the markup, I just copied yours, but now i've learnt to just use four tildes. I'm still learning everything, cheers. Bootlegapparel1 (talk) 04:46, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You can customise your signature at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences
Add the following to the 'New signature' box...
<span style="border:1px solid blue;color:blue">[[User:Bootlegapparel1|''' Bootlegapparel1 ''']] <span style="font-size:xx-small; vertical-align:top">[[User Talk:Bootlegapparel1|talk]] </span></span>
Of course, you can tweak it further.  Stepho  talk  06:38, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
