Reference errors on 11 June
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Maid of the Mist page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:23, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
Wikipedia policies
[edit]You may want to read up on some Wikipedia policies, including original research and neutral point of view. Statements like
- "Just above the Horseshoe Falls in the upper Niagara River, there were three people in a small motor boat. Trouble developed with the motor and the current swept the boat rapidly towards the brink of the Falls."
- "nothing so spectacular had ever occurred. It will most likely always stand out as the Maid’s “finest hour.”"
and so many others are fine for a novel, but not for an encyclopedia. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 19:28, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
Recent edit reversion
[edit]In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.S Philbrick(Talk) 15:51, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

- Hello, Robert. I was asked by a friend at Goldberg Segalla to update their page to remove content that did not meet Wikipedia standards. Now I see the page has been deleted. Can you tell me why the page was deleted, if you know, and how it can be restored?
