Vandalism
[edit]G'day Bombycil,
welcome to Wikipedia! I'm gonna be nasty in the next sentence, but please remember that I am glad to have you aboard. Right, then; please, please refrain from tagging articles for speedy deletion until you find out how to do it properly. And don't accuse other users of vandalism unless they really are vandalising: it's an offensive personal attack, and in cases like this it makes you look really really stupid. Okay.
Anyway, here's the standard "welcome" template with lots of useful links and suchlike. You might find it handy. Welcome aboard!

- Well, that's what AfD's for. You list articles that aren't shoot-on-sight but you think should be deleted, and explain why. Then other people come along and either agree with you or make their own arguments. Speedy deletions are only for obvious shoot-on-sight cases. fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 04:12, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
