Bohemian Tosspot

[edit]

The bohemian tosspot is pseudonym of writer poet Luke Ramsden [[1]]

Hi! I moved your Luke Ramsden article to your userpage as it seems more apropriate there. The userpages on wikipedia are the proper place for wikipedia contributers to write stuff about themselves. Shanes 13:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, If you are a notable published author, a wikipedia article on you is good and welcome. But the one you wrote was quite unencyclopedic in form and content so it really seemed inapropriate for a wikipedia article. There is also a wikipedia guideline about avoiding writing articles about one self, see Wikipedia:Autobiography. That said, if you can write an encyclopedic article about yourself without the article looking like it was written by the subject of the article (if you understand what I mean), then I'm fine with that. But then you should cite verifiable sources for your published work to warrant notability. You wouldn't belive how many people come to write about themself on wikipedia, and they are deleted by the thousands.
Anyway, I'll delete the redirect now being on Luke Ramsden so the article is empty and you can write a more encyclopedic entry there if you want. Hope you don't take this the wrong way. Thanks for your interest in wikipedia! Shanes 13:43, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to United States. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Gator (talk) 13:33, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to God, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 11:32, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
