[edit]Sure, Decksandrumsandrockandroll has a different tracklist in the Dreamworks release, but the artists themselves aren't contracted to Dreamworks. They are contracted to Wall of Sound, which is the main distributor for most territories. In North and South America, WoS licensed the album for Dreamworks. Notice that, for example, Bob Sinclar released the single "Love Generation" on Defected, but other versions of the single exist on other labels, including Vendetta Records, 541, Legato and Tommy Boy. Still, that doesn't mean Bob Sinclar has a contract with all these labels. --Pc13 20:43, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- Dreamworks is important to mention in the article about the album but not in the band. I believe the album doesn't have an infobox yet. You can add it there if you want to. But the band themselves are not contracted to Dreamworks, and while the information can be made available in the biography section of the article, it is incorrect to list it in the infoxbox as the label they publish their music on. --Pc13 08:23, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Just curious as to how I can request a lock on a specific page that has received a lot of vandalism.
You can request it at WP:RFPP (Wikipedia:Requests for page protection), if you follow the instructions. Page protection is a function that only site admins can do (experienced editors can be appointed for "adminship" at WP:RFA (Requests for adminship)). There are certain circumstances for which page protection can occur. See WP:PPOL (Wikipedia:Protection policy) if people disagree about the article. What you're probably looking for is WP:SEMI (Wikipedia:Semi-protection policy), and if a page is semi-protected, new users and unregistered editors can't edit it, and thus can't vandalize it.
