WikiProject Media To-do List:

Sources requested please

[edit]

I can find no Wikipedia article which covers the concept of media campaigns nor can I point to any particular book or research article which looks at the general concept of media campaigns. There are many individual books on specific advertising, political, and health campaigns, and to me these things seem to have some common characteristics which justifies grouping them all as media campaigns, but I have not been able to find an authoritative source which ties them together.

Does anyone know where I can find sources for the following?

  • a narrative of the history of media campaigns
  • a review of exemplary media campaigns
  • an exposition of media campaign theory
  • data-heavy literature reviews giving statistics of efficacy of various media campaigns in relation to variables
