bug in your RfA example-links
I noticed that
- User:Bluerasberry/userpage_standards#Good_userpages , currently links to...
- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Yunshui&oldid=502950499 , which is now a dead-url
- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Yunshui&offset=20130604000000&limit=500&action=history&tagfilter= , because User:Yunshui upgraded without bothering with WP:HISTMERGE
- https://web.archive.org/web/20111227074725/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Yunshui , maybe you could use this pre-upgrade 2011 version
- https://web.archive.org/web/20121129130115/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Yunshui , maybe you could use this pre-upgrade 2012 version
- https://web.archive.org/web/20130425095210/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Yunshui , maybe you could use this pre-upgrade 2013 version
- but personally I like the current version , which also links to a variation on the older content :-)
Now, since I wasn't certain what link *you* would like, I post the results of my WP:GOOG here for consideration at your discrection. 75.108.94.227 (talk) 23:29, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks @75.108.94.227:. I updated that page. I still care about WP:RFA reform and still think it would be a good idea to develop a range of mini-criteria on which basis to judge candidates. Maybe someday I will re-engage with the reform process. Blue Rasberry (talk) 11:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Thank you, Lane, for quality contributions to articles on health with "the particular responsibility of health educators", for improving articles on a daily basis, including Rasberry crazy ant, for outreach as Wikipedian in residence and campus ambassador, for offering healthy welcome and coffee generously, "Let's work together", - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Just noticed ...
... your proposal last year at [1] and OpenStax College. These could be very useful, iif only incorporating parts of them into articles. Maybe start with:
- Biology (released April 2013)
- Concepts of Biology (released April 2013)
- Anatomy and Physiology (released June 2013)
If you have any further ideas, please let me know and I'll try to help.

Also, please drop by WP:BIOMEDICAL and help us sort out our demarcation problem. The main problem is finding the line. What to call it can happen later. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:01, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
The Tax Defense Network page is clearly an advertisement and the company is attempting to use it for quick spinets to promote itself through Adwords.
The company already manipulates Google by creating over 20+ other "companies" and websites for front-companies that all lead back to Tax Defense Network. Manipulating Wiki is their MO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.176.128.138 (talk • contribs) 20:01, 6 November 2015
- Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tax Defense Network, where I nominated the page for deletion. It will go through Wikipedia's standard deletion review process now. No one user can make decisions on these things. I only made the nomination at the request of someone who emailed WP:OTRS. Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 20:03, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

Tax Defense Network Deletion
I think the page Tax Defense Network should not have been deleted. It's a notable company and linked from many other Wikipedia pages [1]. As far as I remember the article had some good media references from Forbes, BizJournal and Yahoo Finance.
I did notice that a few days back some really bad edits were made to the page. It seemed like a dis-grunted employee wrote some stuff to get back at them. A lot of changes were made to a section related to an old employee who was caught doing fraud. I am just trying to connect the dots.
I would like to vote it for un-deletion. What do you think?
— Preceding unsigned comment added by Gsmodi (talk • contribs) 15:59, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Gsmodi Feel free - no problem. You may make a request at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion.
- Still, it is not supposed to be a matter of opinion. The article failed WP:GNG. Without meeting the minimum requirement for a Wikipedia article (finding 2 good sources) articles get deleted. The people commenting did not find any good sources. If you find these sources, then the article will easily be deleted. Sources have to feature this organization as the subject. Everyone is welcome to make requests and continue the discussion. It is easy to back up and undelete things. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:08, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Bluerasberry Since you deleted the article using the article for deletion process, could you please restore it. I'll work on the article to make it more relevant. I have at-least 2 notable links (http://finance.yahoo.com/news/jackson-hewitt-partners-tax-defense-133700372.html, http://www.bizjournals.com/jacksonville/stories/2010/07/19/focus1.html) at this point and am sure I can find more while I'm adding more info. Thanks Gurpreet Singh Modi (talk) 18:18, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Gsmodi I did not delete it or comment on the article. I just helped someone nominate it. Biblioworm deleted it, and has the power to WP:userfy it so that you can develop it further. Biblioworm, can you restore this to his userpage so that this user can add his references? Gsmodi, after you improve the article, feel free to either try to recreate it or go through WP:AFC or WP:TEAHOUSE to get some review of what you have done and have someone else make it live for you. - Bluerasberry Thank you for the clarification. Biblioworm could you please restore the page so that I could add the references. Thanks, Gurpreet Singh Modi (talk) 18:32, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I tried to get everything aggressively archived, because of seeming confusion between the article and the article's talk page; the material is still there for those that need to look for it. —Sladen (talk) 18:28, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
- Sladen I do not have an opinion about how the article should be archived, but only that the deletion was a mistake. Yes, people can find good content in the archives. I am not sure where the archiving process went wrong here but it seems that you saw the bot error too because you commented about it. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:31, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

two questions from a new wiki user
Hello,
Thank you - and the other editors - for your assistance as I learned this system and revised/cleaned up the Lawrence Corey page.
Two (perhaps) final questions on my recent wiki work:
1) The Lawrence Corey page has been updated, revised and citations have been added throughout. How do I request that this banner get removed?:
"This article may require cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. No cleanup reason has been specified. Please help improve this article if you can. (July 2011)"
2) I also authored a new wikipedia page for HIV researcher and scientist Dr. Julie McElrath. That page also has been independently written and reported, verified and given citations throughout. What are some steps I now can take to remove this banner?:
" AFC-Logo.svg This article, Julie McElrath, has recently been created via the Articles for creation process. The reviewer is in the process of closing the request, and this tag should be removed soon.
WARNING: Draft:Julie McElrath is 25,394 bytes. If it is not a redirect with only 1 edit in its edit history, this may be a "copy and paste" move. To avoid losing the edit history, administrators should consider merging the history of the AfC draft into this article. Non-administrators should consider placing {{Histmerge|Draft:Julie McElrath}} at the top of this article before removing this AFC submission template."
Please note: I am new to using wikipedia but I am a journalist of 30+ years and the McElrath page is fully accurate, verified and contains 12 independent references, including four news articles about Dr. McElrath. If you can offer any guidance in terms of removing the existing banner, I would appreciate it. If the article simply needs to be vetted by editors there, I understand and will stand by for that.
Many thanks Bill Briggs
- Thanks, I replied by phone. Blue Rasberry (talk) 02:01, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
Hello again.
Regarding the Lawrence Corey page (revised) and the Julie McElrath page (new), all citations have been now revised to meet standards. Please review when you can. Would it be possible to remove the banner now atop Julie McElrath's page?
Thank you again for your guidance.

Finally responding!
Hi Bluerasberry, how're you doing? I'm finally responding to your reply at a thread I started on the Education Noticeboard. My interest in the Education side of Wikipedia (not so much WikiEd) was fostered by my experiences helping out students which make their way to random articles and make unconstructive but good faith edits. Yes, these blocks are going to continue to happen unless we pick back up the Online Ambassador program and advertise these people as willing to help. Currently it seems WikiEd does very little to actually assist students -- samtar whisper 12:56, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for taking part in the Community Health learning campaign!
Hi,
apologies for writing in English, if this is not your first language.
I want to thank you once more for engaging in conversation on the Community Health learning campaign. It took us a while, but we can finally announce the winner of the prize, as well as share the outcomes of this conversation.
- The winner of the Wikimania 2016 scholarship is Basak! Congratulate her on her Talk page!
- The analysis of the consultation can now be found on Commons. It was presented at Wikiconference USA 2015, together with a more extensive research project on Community Health.
You might also be interested in taking part in the 2015 Harassment consultation. This is the first of several planned consultations on this topic, intended to provide a place to discuss ideas, concerns, proposals and possible solutions regarding Wikimedia communities’ harassment-related challenges.
This conversation would not have been the same without you. If you have more ideas, or follow up comments on the findings of the campaign, don't hesitate to leave me a message my talk page.
Have a great day,
