About KCJJ

I was just reading the KCJJ article and I felt it to be very lacking. It appears to be more of an advertisement than an unbiased article. I was wondering if this was grounds for it to be put up for clean-up or sent to AfD. Thanks, Yabbs (talk) 07:12, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

AFD is not the avenue for this. Try tagging the article with {{advertisement}} instead so that editors know what to fix on the article. --Bluemask (talk) 07:28, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Wikipedia policy allows us to link to legal streamed copies of albums. It would be useful to draw up a guideline on how and when to link to such albums; however, there is concern that it may not be appropriate as the music would not be available in all parts of the world. Is the benefit of having access to the music for most users outweighed by the fact that some users will follow a link to find the music is not playable in their region? Your view would be helpful at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums. SilkTork ✔Tea time 01:54, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Articles on radio stations in the Philippines

Just a heads up, I have placed prod tags on all the Philippine radio station articles you tagged as suspected hoaxes back in October. —KuyaBriBriTalk 16:38, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

I don't know, they seem to actually exist. It's just that they are only local stations with very little information available. Maybe they should all be merged into a list of local stations. --Enric Naval (talk) 10:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Please stop adding the hoax tag to articles about topics that actually exist. Thus far, all of the articles you have tagged as hoaxes are actually existential. Please discontinue. Northamerica1000(talk) 18:39, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your fixing and improving this article, even if I sounded a help request in the talk page for I could not improve the images fixing. Hi. When you recently edited Angelo Castro, Jr., you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Filipino and EDSA Revolution (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks. By the way there are many buradors over now. What should we do about it. Those cannot be completely considered as articles. And if any of those are good for actual pages of themselves, how can we make them become so? Too many. Buradors (sandboxes) are good or bad? - AnakngAraw (talk) 03:46, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Can you fix "batayan" tab on the Main Page (can be viewed only if not logged-in), and capitalize the "b", thus making "batayan" into "Batayan". Thanks. - AnakngAraw (talk) 02:12, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Allow global sysops to do admin tasks on Tagalog Wikipedia

Hi. You seem to be active on the Tagalog Wikipedia. As such, I'm interested whether that wiki's community would like the assistance of the global sysops, which would've helped in the raid on tl:Manuel Roxas. Global sysops will not do any actions if they are not certain of themselves.--Jasper Deng (talk) 04:25, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Vexed

Hi, it seems that you tagged the page Vexed as part of Wikiproject Tambayan Philippines on Talk:Vexed. Since it's a British comedy police drama set in London, this seems rather odd. Even odder is the fact that the tag was added in 2009, but the article was not created until 2010! Presumably this is some sort of technical quirk. But I've no idea what article the tag should belong to. Paul B (talk) 11:58, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

It may have been a technical glitch (as a result of page moves or something) or that tag may refer to a deleted page with the same page title. I will remove the Philippines tag. The new page may be tagged under the Television Wikiproject. I will re-tag the article with that project. --Bluemask (talk) 02:02, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of political families in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aurora (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bantayan islands

I have provided a number of other islands within Bantayan, which also need tagging I guess. See them at Bantayan island. Actually, I'm not all that sure whether Guintacan is truly one of the Bantayan islands, even though it is part of Santa Fe municipality.

I will be travelling back to Bantayan shortly, when I hope to update much of the material I have provided so far. For instance I can find nothing online beyond passing reference to WWII and 'The Battle of Bantayan'.

Are you in a position to quality-assess (from the project group view) what I have done so far - Bantayan Island, Bantayan, Cebu, Madridejos, Cebu and Santa Fe, Cebu? I have tried to differentiate between the island (physical geography) and the municipality.

Re: PROD for Angel Sy

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Angel Sy, which you proposed for deletion. I am leaving this message here to notify you about it. I have also added a source for this person on this page. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to it. Instead, feel free to list the article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! ShawnIsHere: Now in colors 02:04, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Bluemask. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, List of former child actors from the Philippines, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Mdann52 (talk) 13:59, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:In My Life cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:In My Life cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:23, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi, where are you from?:)) --Koelnfan (talk) 16:13, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

"Assessment"s you are "restoring"

e.g. Achila etc. These alleged assessments didn't exist until user user:BhlJRama inserted them while at the same time removing the entire rest of the talk pages. Have the articles actually been assessed? I doubt it, and I doubt that tin-pot barangays a of a tin-pot municipality would be given mid-class importance. Either that or the rating system is worthless. -- Unbuttered parsnip (talk) mytime= Fri 12:35, wikitime= 04:35, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

@Unbuttered Parsnip: Those valid assessments as least to their quality. I will have to re-assess every article in Category:Barangays of the Philippines as to their importance soon. --Bluemask (talk) 06:44, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Tagging of DXQO for speedy deletion

Hi Bluemask, regarding your tagging of DXQO for speedy deletion as an obvious hoax, I don't see how that could be true. There's even a website linked to from the article, I think it's obvious that the radio station is at least real. Pishcal 12:54, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

@Pishcal: Two points, (1) the website stated is for the radio network as a whole and no indication in the website that they own a station or have an affiliate in the area indicated in the article; (2) the "first air date" indicated is a future date (June 8, 2015) but the content is suggesting otherwise. There are also articles like this one -- DXPW-FM -- that I haven't tagged. --Bluemask (talk) 01:55, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Help needed in a cross-wiki investigation

Hello.
Glad to see a skeptic here. I need a thorough investigation of contributions by Prinsipe Ybarro and related accounts, especially in Tagalog Wikipedia. An attempt to establish identity of this person IRL also would be helpful. en.Wikipedia’s check-users indefblocked him because of connection with a serial vandal, and the steward Ruslik0 globally locked the account based on a statement by one user Poyekhali. It is not necessary for you personally to investigate, just instruct the tl.Wikipedia community to do it and to provide feedback, please. Relevant discussions:

I seek to press for unlocking the account, but—already having some experience with stewards—I estimate chances will be nearly zero without some form of community support. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:45, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
