The solution I suggested for Triple Nines is true for any and all articles which are AFD'd: add references/links to press/TV/et cetera reports which discuss the subject. (Actually, the Triple Nines one is rather weak, and a hypothetical second ref should ideally be less human interest - smart people have problems too - and more on the group per se).
