Royal Netherlands Army - Dutch names

[edit]

Actually you made a valid point and I removed the "" and Italics. Still, the native names in brackets add informational value, but they reduce the ease of reading. So I checked and there no standardized way how to list units in the structure of an army article. Therefore I opened a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history#Army structures and would welcome it if you could give some input. Thank you, noclador (talk) 17:17, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It looks a lot better already, thanks for your work! I agree with, as you mentioned, that a standardised format would probably work best. I'm not sure though how one would go about creating a standardised format, but I leave some input on the discussion you opened. Greetings --Bliekindewater (talk) 18:24, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Netherlands Marine Corps, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macedonia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Dutch Equipment

[edit]

Thx for correcting me on the Boxers. I did go ahead and check the MoD document cited to be sure there wasn't any confusion regarding it but it does seem its drive modules + the mission modules. Again thx for the correction (the translation of the relevant section from the cited source is below so we are on the same page)

With this E-letter I inform your Chamber about the project evaluation of the third subproject; the large armored wheeled vehicle Boxer, 'the Boxer project'. With the completion of this subproject, the entire project 'Replacement of armored vehicles M-577 and YPR' has been completed. I am also informing you with this letter about the intention from the Defense Paper 2024 to acquire 72 additional Boxers with RCT30 turret to strengthen the firepower of the 13 Light Brigade of the Army.
