Feel free to leave any comments, constructive criticism etc. here and I will reply here. If you are commenting on an article I have been involved with, please include a link to it.
I watch talk pages that I leave a message on, so please respond on the talk page rather than here; that way the discussion is kept in one place. However, since I do a reasonably large amount of recent changes and new page patrolling, I don't watch talk pages I leave speedy deletion / vandalism / AfD notices and the likes on. If you wish to comment on one of these notices, continue the discussion on your talk page but drop me a note asking me to participate in the discussion.

Matlab code for ISI example
[edit]Hi, You authored/contributed to an overview article on ISI in which you generated two eyediagrams using Matlab. Can you provide the Matlab script that you used? The article can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersymbol_interference
Thanks,

Proposed deletion of Take the High Road (song)
[edit]The article Take the High Road (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non notable song long marked for notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Wgolf (talk) 17:44, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Take-the-high-road.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Take-the-high-road.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:31, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay
[edit]Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.
Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
