A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Blacksolvent, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 01:35, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Acroterion (talk) 01:39, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello i am requesting to appeal my block of blacksolvent #1 blacksolvent is not a business or for promotion this is a page for research and development of startups , the name blacksolvent is original and needs to known and Wikipedia is the best place for original ideas to be trademarked. the business is not an entity and will not be promoted as such under the disguise i agree to all the rules of Wikipedia and request a reinstatement of my account as well as the pages i have created , i am not compensated to do this i am just an author - blacksolvent is also a news outlet , these are my reasons why i believe i should be reinstated. Decline reason:

You have not proposed a new username as instructed. You are dead wrong that "Wikipedia is the best place for original ideas to be trademarked". You do that at your government's office for incorporation, not Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the last place to write about a topic, not the first. Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources say about a topic, not what it says about itself, and a business must be shown to meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable business to be included here. I don't believe for a second that you aren't an employee or contractor for Black Solvent, that makes you a paid editor and as such the Terms of Use require disclosure of that fact(this is stricter than the conflict of interest that you attempted to declare). If you "agree to all rules" then you will do this. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company or its clients("startups" almost never merit articles anyway). If you want to edit about other topics, please tell what those are. 331dot (talk) 07:24, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
