Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please be careful
[edit]You have made a lot of poor contributions that have had to be reverted and you vaguely remind me of someone else who got into trouble for pushing their unsourced opinion etc into articles about Nepali castes, Madhesi and Chhetri people etc. You do not want to end up in the same position as them, ie: either banned from contributing to certain topics or blocked completely. Please note the information below. - Sitush (talk) 08:26, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
None of my edits had anything lacking or shortage of references. The references I provided thereby were from independent journals and unless I start vandalizing Wikipedia without reliable sources, you have no right to put any sanctions. The poorly sourced articles can be further expanded with discussions on common grounds and more reliables sources but not with the legitimate power you inherit from Wikipedia which in no case is for blocking users, reverting edits and banning topics haphazardly protecting your some hidden self-interest. Even I am American of-of South Asian origin with residence here in Indo-Nepal border and I am seriously compatible with Wikipedia terms and conditions. Instead of warning me, I am expecting your advice, directions, and guidance on making Wikipedia a more reliable source of information for scholars and independent Internet users. I am waiting for your quick reply at your earliest convenience. Anyway, nice talking to you. See ya!
Prashant Jha of Nepal moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Prashant Jha of Nepal, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Poudar
[edit]Hello, Black Chapter. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Poudar".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 14:10, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
