You are obviously not a new user. Are you evading a block? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 04:25, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- WP:AGF. You are confusing me with other editors of this article like, Wiredbee, Northerncreek and Rebecca Qari. BlackMansBurden (talk) 04:30, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- you never answered my question - are you a blocked or banned user? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:38, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
final warning
[edit]This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Bunker Roy, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
You know full well that content about living people needs to be supported by high quality reliable sources and not opinion pieces. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:38, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- I am not a blocked user. Rrequest a checkuser. I shall add all the sourecs I have for that claim about the Aga Khan Foundation award. I shall put at least 6 published sources. Please provide at least 5 sources for the 3 million engineers and architects claim. BlackMansBurden (talk) 14:02, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
BlackMansBurden: TRPoD continues to use the 3 million number. Do we continue to play this cat and mouse game or there is an ombudsman to save us! Wiredbee (talk) 16:21, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Reverts on Barefoot College and Bunker Roy by TheRedPenofDoom
[edit]BlackMansBurden: I'm new to Wikipedia editing policies. Why is TRPOD defending Bunker Roy and Barefoot College? There is ample evidence that Bunker Roy misleads people and makes false representations. The Aga Khan Foundation controversy was the tip of the iceberg. Check the following revisions in Wikipedia to know about Bunker Roy and Barefoot College:
Bunker Roy: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bunker_Roy&oldid=523277138 Barefoot College http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Barefoot_College&oldid=523130034
To prove my point, just watch Bunker Roy speak about his Hindu priest who installs solar panels in his Barefoot College. In this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVuI4A1ka6U - he says that the Hindu priest has done only 6 years of primary schooling. Whereas at this URL - http://www.80hommes.com/80portraits/AboutBC.pdf - he says that the Hindu priest has studied till 8th standard. In yet another URL - http://bfi-internal.org/pdfs/Finalist_BarefootCollege_Application.pdf - the Barefoot College says that the Hindu priest has studied till 12th standard. Then in another URL - http://www.educationworldonline.net/index.php/page-article-choice-more-id-3033 - Bunker Roy says that the Hindu priest is a 10th standard dropout.
If you check the above revisions you will find numerous examples of misrepresentation by Bunker Roy. [unsourced claim stricken per BLP] Surprisingly he has evaded public scrutiny till now. His activities need to be thoroughly examined. Western funding agencies should initiate a longitudinal study of the development programs funded by them. When they do this, they will find that Bunker Roy has cheated them to the hilt. The solar lighting program is a complete sham. It is not sustainable at all because illiterate / semi-literate people do not have the skills to manufacture solar lighting equipment that will last 5 years. Also they don't have the skills to maintain the solar lighting infrastructure. Wiredbee (talk) 05:43, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
- as a reminder, WP:BLP applies to talk pages as well. accusations such as the ones you are making above must be supported by reliable sources that make such claims and not your personal analysis. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:43, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
- As far as I know, I have made no WP:BLP accusations about anybody, except for the AKAA/Raina controversy, for which I gave 5 sources, was going to give 4 more, till you said the controversy should be moved from Bunker_Roy to Barefoot_College - so I stopped editing there. Please be specific about the BLP accusation I have made. The only LP I can see on this page is Bunker Roy. You can verify from AKAA that the 2001 architecture award to BC has been striken off. It was not "my analysis", I was just going to give 3 more published sources containing that analysis and more dates when you intervened. Also, saying take "your rants" elsewhere, "your ridiculous claims elsewhere" etc. are NPA and UNCIVIL.BlackMansBurden (talk) 17:16, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
- The comment was not to BMB, but to Wiredbee whose inappropriate content on this page have been addressed. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 21:22, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
