This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/UW_Bothell/B_WRIT_135_Research_Writing_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boring_Company I'd like to add a projected environmental impact to this page. How will it affect subterranean wildlife? Will structural integrity of the ground be compromised in digging these tunnels under our cities? What about structural integrity of the tunnels themselves? Will they hold up to the tonnes of weight directly above?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunnel_construction I want to see about adding a bit of information to the boring section. Such as, what fuel is used, and how much? Is there any alternative to the current standard?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunnel_boring_machine A section regarding fuel would be helpful here as well. Also, are any humans needed down in the tunnel as the machine is operating so as to be able to continue its job?
