Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of city nicknames in Texas, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:00, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Re-adding your edit, using the same unreliable sources, is unacceptable. Please revert your edit. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:24, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. Wikipedia is pretty strict about requiring sources for edits, and about the quality of those sources. Wikipedia:Verifiability has a lot of the details. Basically, a source which can be written by anyone (such as Urban Dictionary or a personal blog) cannot be used as a source because they are not reliable. Reliable sources included reputable newspapers or books by reputable publishers. I'd suggest doing a Google search for city nicknames in Texas, or enter the names of specific cities into your search. Thank you for contributing and if you need help just ask. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:14, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
