Hi. Please don't use this site for self-promotion. See WP:NOT to learn more. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 05:42, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- You're right; I apologize. The self-promotional tone of the article is what led me to my conclusion. Thanks for being so polite about it. :) - Lucky 6.9 06:06, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
No problem. I know you are trying to make sure this is a valuable resource and that this type of thing should be checked. I'm an experienced wiki user but I'm new to Wikipedia and MediaWiki so I'm still trying to figure things out here.
And, it seems we've reached a bit of an impasse. Please don't take the term "adspeak" as an insult. Evilphoenix drew the same conclusion as I did. I make it a point not to second-guess other administrators, so I really can't reverse his decision. Sorry about all of this. I truly hope that you find other ways to contribute here. - Lucky 6.9 07:20, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
I appreciate your response and I know you guys have a job to do but I think Evilphoenix was a bit dismissive and for my first attempt to ad something to Wikipedia this has been an amazingly frustrating experience and a large waste of time. If there is a category called "List of wiki software" then I'm truly baffled why a person couldn't add something to the list. I don't know how leaving a product off the list is maintaining the integrity of the list.
Per the debate at Wikipedia:Deletion review, I've restored this article. I have also listed it with a brief summary of the deletion review debate on the standard deletion process at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CustomerVision. You might see WP:CORP for the sort of formative standards that might be applied, and do work on expanding the article in the meantime. The deletion process lasts for about 5 days. -Splashtalk 03:40, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- I have updated my original entry for CustomerVision. Please review and consider the hopefully much improved version. I am trying to quickly learn how to craft an article that meets the community standards and I would appreciate a chance to get this right. I have tried to use other entries in the same "List of wiki software products" as a guide. Also CustomerVision is both the company name and the name of the software and I've tried to focus the article on the nature of the software. bkeairns
AfD nomination of CustomerVision BizWiki
[edit]An editor has nominated CustomerVision BizWiki, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CustomerVision BizWiki and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Proposed deletion of CustomerVision BizWiki
[edit]The article CustomerVision BizWiki has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- All the reference links are dead except for a podcast. Cannot find any secondary sources that provide more than a trivial mention of the product.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rogermx (talk) 16:57, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
