Speedy deletion of James De Lise

A tag has been placed on James De Lise requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. First, it appears that you're writing about yourself, which violates WP:COI. Second, there's no evidence that reliable independent sources have recognized this person as notable per WP:BIO. NawlinWiki (talk) 17:01, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm writing this for an assignment... second... I haven't uploaded much content yet...

It would seem to me that it would be reasonable to atleast give an hour or so for someone's response rather than just deleting it without any form of due process. I had further sources and an interview to cite... but thanks for your lack of patience.

Sarcasm aside

Perhaps it would be better to create your article here in your own Sandbox so you can get it in shape before it's subject to scrutiny. When it's ready, you can copy it in to the mainspace.
