Kangshore a Limbuwan Commander
[edit]Kangshore is a worrier of Limbuwan. He fought bravely against the Gorkha army along Arun river in BS 1831. There were more than 17 attempts to invade Limbuwn land but worrier Kangshore Khewahang and his army defeated them. It was an eastern part of Nepal's Arun valley. Ultimately, there was a negotiation to fighting without weapons and just a leader of both side from Limbuwan commander Kangshore and beside of Gorkha Raghu Rana Magar had fought single only with sword and commander Kangshore killed Raghu Rana and won the battle but Gorkha army took out the hidden weapons and killed to commander Kangshore and his army too on 25 Vaisahak 1831. Furthermore, Limbuwan army and people came to surround at that location and killed to all Gorkha Armies and Limbuwn won the battle.
After the death of Kangshore and Raghu Rana Magar, their body brought at Gandhe pani and buried at closer to the river. It was at Sovia Dovan, which is the border of Limbuwan and Khambuwan. Kangshore was a hero's of Limbuwn and his nephew Buddhikarna Khewahang was a king of Limbuwn at Vijayapur, Morong (Dharan Vijayapur). Buddhikarna was a last king of Limbuwan. Kangshore was born in Chhathar Sudap in BS 1800.
Gorkha king Prathivi Narayan Saha tried hard to invade Limbuwan but could not the success, therefore, later they came in negotiation on 31 Baisak 1831, called Nunpani agreement, where, Limbuwan joined in Nepal but Limbuwn will remain as autonomous.
Limbuwan had special recognition until BS 2045, where Limbuwan ambassador has existed unofficially. After the obsolete of the monarchy in Nepal, there is no legitimacy of Limbuan, hence there is the demand of Limbuwan State within Nepal.
