Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:
I am not a sockpuppet. I registered yesterday to contribute positively and so merely added the archive.org links to some links which were not working. Please elucidate how that constitutes being used abusively ie. past, present or future (???). This is not a "Minority Report" world where precogs determine possible future or past abuse. As I understand it abuse has a very technical definition on this website and I have not transgressed it. As I also understand it, archive.org links are allowed in references. In conclusion, I have not seen any evidence presented at the sockpuppet investigation link provided which would establish that I am a sockpuppet of any "master", whereas au contraire it absolutely establishes I am not part of that group and have been blocked on a mere suspicion by a functionary. The bit about edit summaries is unclear to me, should I not provide descriptions for my future edits ? Birlahouse (talk) 04:40, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Your denials do not outweigh the evidence against you. PhilKnight (talk) 21:14, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
You have discarded my statements without any reasoning. You aiso claim there is outweighing evidence against me? Where is it ? There are only vague possibilities and uncertainities. Sysops using the weasel words likely or possible reveal the shallowness of the blocking process which is unable to confirm the alleged sockpuppetry. So I am now reporting that my WIKIMEDIA FOUNDATION account with user ID "Birlahouse" has been hacked by anonymous and unathorised persons connected to Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence so as to prevent me from correcting deliberately false and misleading articles on India and Indian entities in thw English version which have been inserted in contravention of specific provisions of Wikimedia Foundation's Universal Code of Conduct. Thus the account deserves to be unblocked immediately to enforce the code of conduct of the data host and publisher. Birlahouse (talk) 17:11, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Hacked? Then WP:COMPROMISED applies and this account cannot and will not be unblocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 17:15, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
It has now apparently been confirmed that my account was hacked or compromised without my authorisation, Thus will Wikipedia report the hack to law enforcement ? Or must I report this to cyber crime law enforcement in my country to prosecute the complainant and recover damages and compensation from Wikimedia Foundation or its registered users ? Birlahouse (talk) 17:24, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Decline reason:
We do not unblock compromised accounts. -- asilvering (talk) 20:31, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

- That's quite enough. You're now blocked as a compromised account, an abuser of multiple accounts, and for making legal threats. Talk page access revoked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 18:14, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
