Please help me with publishing my draft article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Guide_to_Iceland As far as I can see then I need to move it to an article space, but since I'm fairly new (1 year old, only made 4 edits so far) then I'm not autoconfirmed yet and can't do it myself. I'm trying to work out what it is I need to do, it seems I need to request a move - but how do I do that? Which code do I use and where do I place it? Just at the top, before the draft starts? I'm getting very lost and confused with everything I'm looking up about this, thank you so much for your help! Bird flying high (talk) 18:56, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

- Bird flying high This is not appropriate for an encyclopedia article, and it's promotional. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 18:59, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- To expand a little, I have added a messagebox that allows you to submit the draft for a review, but before you do that, the draft needs quite a bit of improvement as Chrissymad noted above. Maybe the company meets our standards of notability, but the draft is promotional and misrepresents the given sources, some of which don't even mention Guide to Iceland. In its current state the draft would be declined; as a live article it would likely be nominated for speedy deletion as spam. Huon (talk) 20:19, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
@Huon: @Chrissymad: I don't really understand. I didn't mean to be promotional and just factual, and all the sources do mention Guide to Iceland (they're all largely about Guide to Iceland and that's how I found all the sources - they mostly come from the biggest and most respected Icelandic newspapers such as Morgunblaðið, DV/Vísir and Viðskiptablaðið). What is it that makes it promotional? It is the official travel information company of Iceland, and by far the largest one, and the fastest growing company to have ever come out of Iceland, so I figured it meets the standards of notability. I wrote a shorter text previously but that one wasn't accepted (or maybe I didn't press the right thing for it to be published), so I thought it needed to be longer perhaps with more information and quotes. Is it the quote that makes it promotional? Or listing their awards (which I thought would help show the notability)? I've seen a few instances where there's incorrect information about Iceland on Wikipedia so I'm trying to put in more accurate information about Iceland on Wikipedia, and I figured that writing about the official tourism information would be an easy start... but isn't there a way for others to edit the draft anyway if it comes across as promotional?
