RE:Golddiggers

[edit]

Your sources are not reliable. Most are geocities sources while the other is another wikipedia page. Please read WP:RS Undead Warrior (talk) 12:50, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple reliable sources means exactly that. You NEED multiple sources that are reliable. You had one, or maybe two, but that normally does not cut it. Also, stay civil when you post on other people's talk pages. You came off rude on your last post, and if you continue to do so, you will make a bad name for yourself in wikipedia. Also, posting an article about something just to have that something remembered is not the right way or reason to do things. IF the golddiggers were important, prove it. Give the needed sources. From what I've seen, they are just mentioned in a few publications. They have nothing written exclusively about them, nor did they attract a large enough crowd to attract the needed importance. Undead Warrior (talk) 23:22, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Google has many, many, many things on it's search engine that existed before it's time. A search engine compiles all accessible information. Undead Warrior (talk) 23:23, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do not add the links to my page. I will delete them. I have no intention to work on the golddigger article, so it would do you no good to show me the sources. Put them on the article, not my page. Undead Warrior (talk) 22:43, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There was nothing rude about my post. Posting links on people's talk pages is not a good practice to start and is frowned upon. If you want to work on the article, go ahead. You really don't need to tell me too much about it. See WP:BOLD. The AfD will close soon anyway. Undead Warrior (talk) 03:11, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Oakland Skates

[edit]

The article Oakland Skates has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unsourced (for over 7 years). Trivial and non-notable. Fails WP:GNG. Also see WP:SPORTCRIT. Created as part of a large swath of pages by a single user promoting the sport or roller hockey.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
