Hello Bihal, welcome to Wikipedia. Have fun editing texts, but be careful with deleting texts on discussion pages. It is not allowed to delete texts written by other people on a discussion page. You did this with my answer to your list of belt colors on Karate. I have reverted this, so you will have to write your text again. This time, write it underneath the text you would reply to. You can use : for jumping in your text. Use more :: for jumping in further... Good luck! -- MarioR 08:19, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
- I read the message on Talk:Karate. Apology accepted! I already thought this was not deliberately... And I am sorry I wrote "written by Bihal" under the list, I thought that was you too, because you changed the title of this part (didn't you?). I have also reorganized the messages in the correct chronological order. Always write replies underneath the previous message/reply. This is the way it is done in Wikipedia. Also, don't use horizontal lines please! Use the double points (:) for jumping in texts to make it look like a reply to the previous text. Use more points to jump in further. End the reply with 4x~ (So ~~~~) for your signature, this automatically signs your name and date. This is the way we work here on Wikipedia! Thanks! About the 10th dan, yeah, it sure differs from martial art to martial art. And there are so many different styles in karate, so surely there will be some differences too. I however do believe that for the bigger styles it's true. Maybe some smaller styles have different systems? Do you know which ones? Regards, -- MarioR 13:38, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
Hi! I saw your message on the karate talk page. There is currently an RfC concerning the two main protagonists in the Genseiryu edit war—maybe you would have some useful input on this matter? See: Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Peter Lee and Mario Roering. Thanks, JeremyA (talk) 16:16, 28 August 2005 (UTC)

Join us in the "Terminator" Article discussion page...please...
[edit]If you are still a member of Wikipedia, please join user:TomTheHand and myself in a discussion of which terms should apply to the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Infiltration Unit in its various forms.
To be as neutral as possible, I will relate the views of TomTheHand as well as my own, as accurately as posible:
Tom believes that the term "Android" should apply to all of the incarnations of the Model 101, from Endoskeleton all the way up to the gestalts of flesh-and-blood and the combat chassis played by Arnold in the movies. He furthermore believes that the term "cyborg" does not apply to any of the Terminator's forms.
Thanos777 -myself -thinks that the Terminator is worthy of multiple appelations depending on which configuration (read: Type/Series) the Model 101 is configured as.
That is to say, I believe that the "Base" Model 101, just the endoskeleton with no cosmetic enhancements, is best defined as either a Humanoid Robot, Anthropomorphic Robot, or simply a Robot.
When the Model 101 is outfitted as a Type/Series 600, the endoskeleton covered by rubber skin, I believe that the Terminator is then most correctly classified as an "android."
And finally, when the Model 101 is equipped as a Type/Series 800/850, the endoskeleton with the living flesh-and-blood covering, I believe that the most correct term for the creatre is "cyborg."
Again, I respectfully ask you to come back to the "Terminator" Article and lend your input; those of us who are there in the Article's discussion page are engaging in a lot of back-and-forth regarding the different terms and the disagreements as to when they should be used.
Hope to "see" you there soon!!!
