List of common misconceptions
[edit]Hi, and thanks for your suggestion on List of common misconceptions. I declined your request, as you'll see on the talk page. The problem revolves around Wikipedia's very high standards that, as much as possible, all info in WP articles be backed up by WP:RS. In this case, you need a reliable source to prove not only the "true" point, but also a reliable source to show that the idea is, in fact a "common misconception." If you have such a source, please do make a new edit request and we can look at including the info. Feel free to contact me on my talk page if you have any questions about this or Wikipedia in general. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:57, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't notice that you had 2 different requests. The one I declined is the one about motorcycles and cars, as per the reasons above. I did make the correction you requested to the entry about lift. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:12, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
