Speedy deletion nomination of Tyla ellzey
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Tyla ellzey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Singularity42 (talk) 14:59, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:54, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- You've been editing this site for awhile. Please don't create "nanostub" articles with little more than a single sentence. PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:59, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Blocked for misuse of multiple accounts
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. That stunt you pulled with those multiple accounts is what got you - and them - blocked. PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:40, 26 May 2011 (UTC) {

Request reason:
I am a school teacher trying to use wiki as a means for my 7th grade history class to post a page about their school. The students created their accounts using the school server and we were using the discussion portion of the page to figure out how we wanted the page to be set up. Please consider unblocking me so we can continue the acitivty or advise in another course of action. Bige08046 (talk) 15:56, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Based on the talk page of the article, I'd assumed that you were a student messing with the site. My apologies for the mixup and I'll gladly unblock you and the others. PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:07, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you. This is the first time many of my students have used wiki in this aspect and they can get a little ahead of themselves. I have been trying to cut down on nonessential chatter. Also, another moderator explained to me how to create a class wiki section. Thanks. Bige08046 (talk) 16:21, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
School Project
[edit]Hi Bige08046! I just wanted to let you know that if you plan to have students edit Wikipedia as part of a school project, the directions for teachers at WP:SUP can help make sure these type of problems are avoided. Singularity42 (talk) 16:10, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Anytime, believe me. We get so much real vandalism that a well-meaning but unusual situation like yours might be misconstrued. I can't tell you how sorry I am for the mixup and I hope that you and your students look to me for any help you might need. I honestly cannot welcome you and they strongly enough. PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:27, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
PS: Don't worry about the article's talk page. It's intended to be used as a discussion board for improvements to the article, so they're perfectly OK in doing what they've done up until now. PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:29, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
